There are different patterns of flashing of blue light in a ring doorbell and therefore there are several reasons for bluelight flashing in ring like pressing of ordinary button connecting to network booting of peephole cam enabled speakers successful set up of peephole cam or factory restore.
If you ve just installed a ring video doorbell pro and now there s a blue led blinking and a slowly filling in the circle on the front of the ring video doorbell pro the blue circle you see on the front of your ring pro is a charging meter.

The ring 2 however can be battery powered or hard wired while the ring pro can only be hard wired.

I was changing the transformer for my ring video doorbell pro because i was having power issues where the doorbell would freeze when someone rang it.
To check the voltage of your ring pro open the ring app select your ring pro and tap device health.
Here are some common ones.

Your ring pro requires a power source that supplies a minimum of 16 volts ac.
For ring pro to function correctly the voltage needs to be listed as good or when you tap it at least 3 900mv.
To do this visit the doorbell device page in the ring app then select device settings and select general settings from there.
